Here are a few numbers from the fire year so far.

Please consider these points:

• These numbers reflect incidents reported to The Wildland Fire Lessons Learned Center.
• These numbers don’t reflect everything that has occurred (many incidents are not reported to us).
• Compiling these numbers doesn’t really mean anything – we publish them in hopes of inspiring meaningful thought and dialogue about risk  – maybe even some action related to reducing risk.
